We are looking for a creative and driven individual who is passionate about radio and English entertainment content. You will be responsible for working on par with the Morning Drive Time team in coordinating the content and programming line-up for our flagship Morning Drive Time radio show, and will report to the Program Director. The producer acts as the critical link between guests, presenters, technical, editorial and programming support. 



·         Manage and deliver excellent, original radio programming and daily rundown from Monday to Friday in close cooperation with Programming Director and MDT team, including talk-set time management, ability to know and lookout for pitfalls, tech difficulties or unsuitable content, proof-reading all content, and maintaining and updating story arcs of the morning show

·         Be completely familiar with show format/concept/ideology/humor

·         Brainstorm with MDT team regarding topics/story ideas/guests, to generate content and ideas for benchmarks

·         Manage a calendar, including topics where a follow up is required (e.g. Anniversaries, including forward thinking grid planning for topics and segments)

·         Create, Collect and Contribute to and make use of, an archive of audio resources which can be re-used

·         Collaborate with MDT team to create and produce daily, weekly and monthly rotated trailers for various benchmarks and dayparts

·         Plan and book guests for “live” interview segment and work with the Community Manager to ensure all interviews are pushed out on social media platforms with immediacy, including creating a stable of experts for various genres

·         Generate social media ideas for daily, weekly output for benchmarks and segments, including editing video content, across different platforms

·         Support with content creation for station-related promo campaigns, and brand-building outreach

·         Have a complete and updated understanding of the regulatory programming code, copyright and media law



·         Production experience in the broadcast media (radio, TV, online) and an awareness of what makes good radio entertainment

·         Excellent spoken and written English, including script-writing skills for radio and television

·         Keen ear and eye for local and international hot topics, trending news and general knowledge, while staying relevant to the target audience

·         Impeccable judgment and ability to work under stressful and fast-changing conditions, including working as a team and also independently

·         Strong research, interviewing, creative, improvisational and production skills

·         Strong interest in social media and digital trends 

·         Creative, meticulous and organized with good forward-planning skills

·         Ability to work early hours

·         A real interest in, and curiosity about, all sorts of people, and be able to make connections between different ideas and subjects

·         Proficient in applications such as Pro-tools, Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Audition, any video editing software.

·         Be willing to embrace new technology and learn other technical skills
